Born in 1992, Valérie Dittli grew up on a farm in Zug. After a Master's degree in law at the University of Lucerne and a doctorate in Lausanne, she will begin her legal training in 2021 in Berne.

Involved in politics from an early age, she chaired the Jeunes démocrates-chrétiens vaudois, then the Centre Vaud after orchestrating the merger with the Parti bourgeois-démocratique vaudois. Elected to the State Council in April 2022 on the Alliance vaudoise list, she has headed the Department of Finance and Agriculture since July 2022.
